Checking the Full Damaged Area
Visible damage may not show the full repair boundary. We map the loose area before choosing a repair method. For repairs that call for stucco repair caulk, we cut the cartridge nozzle with a utility knife and apply the material with a standard caulk gun.
Removing Loose Stucco
When loose material must come out, we define the damaged zone with masonry-bit holes and undercut the perimeter. We remove the failed stucco back to the lath, then clean the opening with a wire brush. This leaves a clear repair area instead of trapping loose material beneath the patch.
Repairs Around Mixed Exterior Materials
Lafayette homes may place stucco beside wood siding and below composition-shingle roofs. We account for the transitions between those materials and keep existing roof-wall drainage details intact. On a raised-foundation house, crawlspace moisture also belongs in the repair assessment rather than being ignored while the visible wall is patched.
Matching the Existing Wall
A sound patch still needs to fit the surrounding finish. We match the existing stucco texture while working around the trim, siding transitions, and drainage details already on the house. The goal is a repair that belongs on the wall without covering details that manage water.
How It Works
-
Tell Us What's Going On
Tell us what you're seeing and when it started — you'll get a straight answer, not a sales pitch.
-
On-Site Inspection
We come out, measure what's actually happening, and walk you through what we find.
-
Clear, Written Quote

-
We Do the Work
We complete the repair, verify it solved the problem, and stand behind the work.
Some of what that looks like in the field:
- Apply premixed patch in layers no thicker than 1/4 inch when the hole or crack is deeper than 1/4 inch, waiting 24 hours between layers.
- Inspect for water entry at flashing, drip edges, gutters, plumbing, grading, and stucco terminations before closing the repair.
